Totally unrelated to this post, because I have no other way to communicate with you.
On The Constructive Curmudgeon I had posted a question on the Rob Bell thread. The question was lost, because Dr. Groothuis committed the ultimate act of arrogance: he deleted the whole thread, because "things were degenerating into name-calling", according to him. Since you had accused him of keeping an arrogant attitude with respect to Bell, I assume you are one of the people he had in mind. (The other was a fellow who said that the number of philosophers like Dr. Groothuis is only second to the number of lawyers in the country).
Anyway, I don't think your accusation of arrogance was misplaced. Quite the contrary.
Back to my "deleted" question. As a pastor, you may be able to answer me. Not "what is orthodoxy". Rather, "who decides what orthodoxy is?" I hope you will find the time to answer, as I have come to respect and appreciate your opinions.
